The registration deadline for this opportunity is Friday, September 3, 2010.

We are offering this opportunity to four teachers in each of the following areas:
Kona (including South Kona)
Kohala (Waimea, Waikoloa)
Hilo (north and south Hilo, including Keaau and Puna)

A total of 12 teachers will be recruited for the academic year 2010–2011. Preference will be given to intermediate and high school science teachers and their students.

Please note: Participating teachers will be required to fill in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Kohala Center. Since we can only work with 12 teachers, we cannot accept everyone that applies, so you must be serious about fulfilling all requirements of the program.
