Keoki Kahumoku, Herb Ohta Jr., Diana Aki and friends join together to present an evening of unforgettable Hawaiian music in an outdoor concert on Keauhou Bay. The final event of the October 6 Hawai‘i Island Food Summit, the "Back to the Garden" Concert will conclude a weekend of food and farming events.
Meet Hawai‘i Island's pioneering gardening and agricultural teachers, hear about their programs, and support this environmental arts education for our keikis, our future leaders.

Keoki Kahumoku
The only artist to be a part of the first three Hawaiian Grammy Awards, slack-key guitarist and ‘ukulele player Keoki Kahumoku has been performing music professionally for over 17 years. His love for Hawaiian music and its culture is evident in his personality and style of playing…from the heart. Keoki continues to share his passion and knowledge in all aspects of the Hawaiian culture through his performance, teachings, farming and cooking…with “Aloha”.
Diana Aki
Also known as the "Songbird of Miloli'i", she is Ke Po'o (Executive Director) of Songbird Productions. Her cultural mana'o and God-given talents have extended from her little village in Miloli'i to international bookings. She plays the 'ukulele and specializes in Hawaiian music. Diana is well known in the islands for her special melodic resonance and has had the privilege to perform with many of the great Hawaiian music artists including Eddie Kamae and the Sons of Hawai‘i, Dennis Pavao, George Kahumoku, and Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.
Herb Ohta Jr.
As a teacher, composer, recording artist, entertainer and producer, Herb Ohta Jr. has been strumming the ‘ukulele since the age of three. Herb's musical talent has been featured in Hawai‘i, the US Mainland and Japan. His list of recordings are extensive and showcase the ‘ukulele as a solo instrument for which he has received numerous awards and nominations. A spitting image of his father, Ohta-san, Herb's melodious playing brings delight to all who listen.
